In Junior and Middle school, learning is aimed at helping students achieve the essentials of Languages, Mathematics, General Science and Social Studies to set them up to be for more comprehensive study. The curriculum is based on the state syllabus as prescribed by the Govt. of Karnataka. With the Government of Karnataka adopting the NCERT curriculum at various stages, students are on par with syllabi like ICSE and CBSE. Students thereby are prepared to take on competitive exams at both the state and national levels.

Teachers ensure that adequate attention is given to each student and where required remedial classes are offered. Students get exposure through Audio Visual learning and also educational trips. Club activities ensure students have well-rounded learning and can identify their own strengths in various areas. Students have access to a Science Lab and Computer Lab allowing them to have a hands-on learning experience. Library times encourage reading on a vast variety of topics. Physical education is given emphasis involving students in various sports. With a large playground within the campus students are monitored and are safe. The music club (Class V) gives students interested in music an opportunity to learn basic vocals and the guitar, professionally.

Extra-curricular Activities

Art & Craft
Students are given an opportunity to be creative and innovative through regular Art and Craft classes.

Sports
Students get to play games like Volleyball, Throwball, Ball Badminton, Cricket, Kho Kho, etc. The spacious playground allows several different sports to be played simultaneously and ensures that allstudents have adequate physical activity. Regular sports and drills are conducted during the mass PT period.

Literary/Humanities/Science/Music Clubs
These clubs give students the opportunity to develop in the area of their interests. Students are given the opportunity to showcase their learning and also expand their learning through club activities. It also helps in personality development, teamwork dynamics and building communication skills.

Scouts & Guides
The school in the academic year 2020-21 is seeking to re-introduce Scouts & Guides as a way for students to get involved in various community-related activities. Thus, helping them to become responsible contributing citizens at a young age.

Assessment

Progress should be measurable, at Websters we employ both formal and non-formal methods:
  • Assessments are conducted on a daily basis in the classroom. Students perform differently atvarious tasks and teachers make every effort to help everychild progress.
  • Homework ensures that learning happens at home reinforces what is taught in the classroom.
  • Conversation skills, interactive skills and handwriting skills are further developed (at the Junior level).
  • Tests and exams are conducted and report cards are provided to parents.
  • The school has timely parent-teacher meetings every term giving an opportunity for parents to interact with teachers and for parents to follow their child’s progress during the year.
